- Social Space – You’re booking a stag do house to act as a base of operation for your stag weekend. One key thing you want to ensure is that there is some kind of space to have your entire group socialise in. Is a stag do house in the UK cheaper than booking a hotel?
Surprisingly, the answer is quite often yes! You might be surprised to hear that hotels are often confused with being the cheaper option, but that’s not necessarily the case. Depending on the size of your group, once the stag house cost is divided by the number of guests you’ll be surprised at just how affordable stag self-catering accommodation can be!
Are all your stag party houses to rent really stag-friendly?
Yes! We’ve developed excellent relationships with all of our property owners and they are happy to accept stag groups providing you respect the property and keep noise to a minimum during the late evening. Providing you’re respectful, you’re free from worry and set to have an awesome time in our stag party houses!
Can I hold a date for the stag party house I’m interested in?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to hold any stag party houses without a small deposit being put down. This is simply because there is so much demand for these houses and the property owners offer them on a first-come first-served basis. Once you’ve placed your initial deposit to secure the stag accommodation for your chosen dates, you’re sorted and you won’t need to pay the rest of the balance until 8 weeks before your stag weekend.
Can I book stag do accommodation for one night only?
The majority of the property suppliers we work with only accept two-night minimum bookings for their stag accommodation. We can however offer one-night stays in most hotels across the UK, or on occasion one-night stays at stag houses during the week, but not the weekend.
Is it expensive to hire a stag party house?
Most of our stag party houses are priced per night and the cost will fluctuate depending on the month you’re booking. If you’re planning a stag do in peak season (May – September) then expect to pay more than off-peak months (October – April). If you are prepared to have a stag party in off-peak seasons, there are some serious bargains to be had.
When we send you a proposal for your stag party, we’ll break the accommodation price down into a per person price based on the number of guests you would like to book for.
If you book a property below the total maximum capacity of guests, some properties may be priced lower than at full capacity. If your group size increases, you may then have to pay additional funds per extra guest. However, some properties will have one flat fee no matter how many guests you have – this will vary from property to property.
Can I order an online food-shop to my stag do house?
Yes! Having all the boys pitch-in to a big online food shop is an excellent and cost-effective way of stocking up your stag do house for a weekend of awesome antics. Choose a time shortly after your check-in so that you can have some early celebratory drinks and snacks.
Can I check-in to my stag do house early?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. This usually depends on whether there was a stag group staying the night before. If there is, it means the stag house has to be cleaned and prepared for your arrival. If you’d like to ask about an early check-in, the best thing to do is speak to your stag coordinator a few days before your event. They can look into if this is possible and let you know in a timely fashion.
Do you offer activities on-site at any of your stag party houses?
We have lots of activities available that can be arranged at your stag party house, including casino tables, private chefs, welcome platters, and even outdoor activities like archery, old school sports days, and highland games, depending on the stag house you choose!
