The Orchard Spa House is a luxury group retreat set in one acre of private gardens in the South Yorkshire countryside, within easy reach of both Sheffield and Chesterfield. Sleeping up to 22 guests across six bedrooms, it’s the kind of place where everyone has space to unwind individually or gather together to relax and entertain.
At the heart of the house is a heated indoor swimming pool, open year-round, alongside a hot tub, dual sauna and a private bar complete with a draft beer pump and cocktail setup. About The Orchard Spa House
The Orchard Spa House sits behind a private electric gate on the edge of the South Yorkshire countryside, surrounded by an acre of mature gardens with an orchard to the rear. It’s just ten minutes from Sheffield city centre and five minutes from Junction 31 of the M1, making it surprisingly easy to reach despite feeling tucked away.
The Pool & Spa Area
The centrepiece of the house is its heated indoor swimming pool which is 11 metres long, 6 metres wide. 2.3 metres deep or 0.9 metre shallow, and open all year round. It’s a proper pool, not a plunge pool, and it’s exclusively for your group. Alongside it you’ll find an eco hot tub and dual sauna, giving the house a genuine spa feel. Whether guests want to swim lengths or simply soak, the facilities are there whenever they want them.
The Bar & Games Room
The sitting room centres around a mahogany bar with a Pint365 draft beer pump, full cocktail setup and a top-of-the-range pool table. There’s also table football, beer pong, a PS5 with games, table tennis and a surround sound stereo system. It’s a space that tends to become the hub of every groups stay as there’s so much to entertain guests.
The Living & Dining Spaces
The dining room table extends to seat up to 20 people which makes it perfect for eating at the house and staying in. Make your celebrations extra special by booking one of our private chefs to bring the food, cook, clean and serve so you can really relax.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven, induction hob, two fridge-freezers, dishwasher and everything a group needs to self-cater comfortably. There’s also a separate sitting room with a corner sofa for those quieter moments.
The Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The house has six bedrooms spread across two floors, including two ground floor rooms that don’t require stair access. There are two en-suite bathrooms, a family bathroom, a separate shower room and two additional WCs, so there’s rarely a queue.
The Gardens & Outside Space
The acre of gardens wraps around the house and includes a patio, pergola, outdoor dining area, BBQ, firepit, hammock and sun loungers. There are also football nets and a basketball hoop for those who want to make use of the space. The orchard at the back of the property gives the grounds a real sense of character, and the whole plot is fully enclosed with parking for up to 20 cars on the private driveway.
The Practicalities
The Orchard Spa House includes fast broadband, Smart TVs throughout, some light gym equipment, a wood-burning stove with fuel included, and all bed linen and towels. Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior agreement and small additional fee. The nearest shop is half a mile away and many of you will be glad to hear there’s a pub within walking distance.

Booking Information
To secure your booking at the Orchard Spa House, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.

Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
