Nottingham stag do ideas
With more pubs, bars and restaurants in one square mile than any other European city, Nottingham has always known how to have a good time. On the waterfront your stag group will find Castle Wharf, a recent development that modernised the city's canal side. Warehouses have been converted into contemporary bars and restaurants with attractive waterside terraces.
When you're not in the pub, you can try your arm at one of Nottingham's many activities. If you are looking for something competitive for the stags you can jump into the 200cc indoor karts and race around the track in an open-track session or grand-prix style.
If you want a true Nottingham stag experience you can channel your inner-Robin Hood and pick up a bow and arrow and compete against your fellow stags in an archery competition. Alternatively, you can play tag archery with our soft(ish) arrows and shoot eachother around our course!
When it comes to stag accommodation in Nottingham there are a few different options. You can stay in a city centre apartment or hotel in the city centre. This option allows you to come and go with ease, making big nights out a lot less hassle. The second options is to hire a large self catering house on the outskirts of Nottingham city centre which means that all the lads are under one roof. You can then organise a minibus or taxis to take you all in and out of the town when needed.
Our favourite stag do activities in Nottingham:
1) Tag Archery
Channel your inner Robin Hood and pick up a bow and arrow and shoot your friends in our new Tag Archery game!
Tear up some dirt on the quads or try to hit the targets in one of our shooting activities.
3) Gin Tasting
If you have a gin lover in your stag party you can head to a city centre bar and try gin tasting session. You'll get to sample 3 different gins and have a quick history of the tipple.
What not to miss whilst on your Nottingham Stag Party:
1) Visit Old Market Square
Nottingham is home to the UK's largest market square, home to regular farmers' markets and if you are visiting in December be sure to check out the German style Christmas market.
2) Check out the oldest pub in England
Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem is believed to be founded in 1189 as a public house, there's no proof behind the claim but there's no denying it's character.
3) Nottingham Castle
If you have some down-time and want to see some of the city then head to Nottingham's castle and learn about it's troubled history. It's also a good backdrop for a group shot.
