Indoor Go Karting Experience
Before you jump into one of our indoor go karts, you will be given full race instructions in a drivers briefing. All the necessary safety equipment is provided for you. No previous driving experience is necessary; not even a driving license! No need to worry about gears, just a brake and accelerator and you're racing.
A true indoor go karting race
All of our UK karting tracks have been designed and mapped by specialists to test the skill of the driver and maximise the enjoyment of your experience. Sprint down the fast straights; take the racing line through the bends, battle for position and dash to the finish line.
You and your fellow karters will go on track for your first 15-minute session, where you will be competing to get the fastest lap time, and complete as many laps as you can. After a short 15-30 minute break, you will go back on track, for your second 15-minute session, where you will hopefully improve on your previous times. At the end of both of these sessions you will be given your race report detailing each of your track times, the fastest driver from your session, and your average speed! You will have one of our events team on hand, throughout your experience, to answer any questions you may have and help you with anything you may need.
Indoor Endurance Karting
We’ll split the group into teams, and all the teams will complete in a short practice session, to get to grips with the track, and the karts themselves. Teams will then compete in a non-stop, Le Mans-style, endurance race, competing with other teams to see who can complete the most laps in the designated time. Each team is in charge of their own pit -stops and driver changes, and need to come up with their own strategy to cover the most laps in the set amount of time. We will then do a trophy presentation, on the podium, for the top three teams.Race length and team sizes are decided a few days prior to the event, as it is dependent on the final number of groups and drivers. The more drivers there are the more people per team, but the longer the race!
Typical events last for up to 2.5 hours (from arriving to leaving) , and each driver is guaranteed 20-25 minutes of track time.
Indoor Grand Prix Karting
The most common indoor karting request - the grand Prix style format. You and your fellow karters will go on track for your first 15-minute session, which is split into 5-minutes of practice, immediately followed by 10-minutes of qualifying.
You’ll then take a short 15-30 minute break, during which you will be given your race report detailing each of your track times, the fastest driver from your session, and your average speed! You’ll then go back on the track and line up on the Grid in qualifying order, so fastest at the front and work your way back from there, to race it out for your second 15-minute session. We will then do a trophy presentation, on the podium, for the top three drivers.
We can arrange the grand-prix as an exclusive or open style event if your group is slightly smaller so you compete against other drivers too.
