Why Liverpool is a top destination for groups
Liverpool isn’t just a city, it’s an experience for groups who want history, culture, and a bit of fun all in one place.
“There’s plenty to see and do, from the lively waterfront and UNESCO-listed Albert Dock to the Cavern Club where The Beatles started out! History buffs can explore the maritime past at the Merseyside Maritime Museum, art lovers can visit Tate Liverpool, and anyone looking for a trendy vibe will enjoy the Baltic Triangle’s street art, bars, and eateries.
Groups find Liverpool easy to enjoy together. Sports fans can cheer at Anfield or Goodison Park, adventurous types can try escape rooms or river cruises, and the compact city centre makes walking between attractions simple.
The nightlife suits every taste, from traditional pubs to cocktail bars for those who want to have a few drinks before calling it a night in spacious city apartments. Many of our group accommodation stays are in the Cavern Quarter or the Georgian Quarter so you’re only a step away from everything you could possibly need for the weekend.
Liverpool’s festivals and events add extra energy to any trip. Highlights include the Liverpool International Music Festival in July, The Beatles Week Festival that takes place in August, and finally for the foodies Liverpool Food & Drink Festival in September. Why book self-catering group accommodation in Liverpool?
Liverpool is an exciting city with so much to do and so much history behind it. In peak months like May, a 4-star hotel in central Liverpool can cost £150 – £250 per night over the bank holiday. Our self-catering group stays start from just £140 per person for the whole weekend, offering serious savings on accommodation.
Spend more time together – Hiring a big house with your friends and family is all about creating a space to have quality time together to laugh, share stories, and create new memories. Hotels are convenient and comfy, but they lack big social spaces to get everyone together. Most of our apartments and townhouses in central Liverpool are very comfortable and our houses just on the outskirts of Liverpool are large with popular amenities, so you don’t even have to leave the house.
Dine the self-catering way – Liverpool is a haven for foodies, with all types of cuisines and restaurants in the city centre, but sometimes this can break the bank. Our self-catering house comes equipped with a kitchen, allowing you to whip up budget-friendly group meals. Order a food delivery for the weekend and split it amongst everyone, it’s way more affordable than paying for 3 meals a day out! If nobody is keen to cook for such a large group, we have private chef’s that will come to your accommodation and prepare a freshly cooked 2 or 3 course dinner for you so you can simply sit back, relax and make the most of your celebrations.
Explore with ease – Our self-catering properties are based in the very centre of Liverpool, meaning you won’t have to worry about long travel times to get to get to the city’s best attractions. Liverpool has a well-connected public transport system, with buses, trains and Uber drivers readily available. Cavern Quarters is a really convenient and popular place to stay because it’s location to everything central.
Embrace Liverpool’s history – You’ll be within easy reach of some of Liverpool’s most famous attractions. Home to legendary Beatles, pay a visit to The Cavern Club where they frequently played, explore Royal Albert Dock and it’s wealth of shops, restaurants and museums, or catch a match at Anfield, the iconic stadium of Liverpool Football Club.
