Where's the best place to stay in Newcastle?

If you're looking to enjoy the nightlife in Newcastle we recommend staying as central as possible so you can either walk or catch a short cab home. Both universities are near Haymarket which is where you'll find most of the bars and the Diamond Strip.

If you're looking to stay within walking distance of the action but not directly within it, then staying riverside may be a good a option - near Swing Bridge is a good base. Our self catering apartments are located here.

There's rarely any self catering houses within the city centre but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Newcastle has fantastic transport links and now taxis and Ubers so frequent, getting into town is minimum effort.
