East Linton Manor House is an exclusive retreat in East Lothian and has been created to offer luxurious and spacious accommodation for large groups of friends and families, and corporate getaways.
East Linton Manor House is split into four different properties; the main manor house, cottage, and two bothies. Combine across all areas, you will find 10 elegantly styled bedrooms capable of sleeping up to 20 guests.

About East Linton Manor House
The interior design is a fusion of modern and traditional. Alongside local Chippendale-school Windsor chairs, handcrafted hemlock log side tables, and modern seats by Charlotte James and Morgan are Georgian and Victorian antiquities. Smooth polished concrete flooring, exposed stone and tulipwood walls, gorgeous William Morris wallpaper, Philippe Starck lighting fixtures, and custom light sculptures by Planet Flowers in Edinburgh all blend together well.
The main manor house has four Super King bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the first level. restrooms with heated floors, heated mirrors, and power showers. The AGA oven is installed in the hand-crafted kitchen. The dining room, drawing room, library, and wellness studio are also located here.
The cottage has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the ground floor, and two bedrooms with private bathrooms on the top floor. Power showers, heated mirrors, and underfloor heating are all found in bathrooms. Sliding doors from the fully equipped wood kitchen go out onto the patio and gardens.
In the first bothy you’ll find a ground-floor living space, kitchen, and ensuite bedroom with a giant king bed are perfect for those with limited mobility. Power showers, baths, heated mirrors and underfloor heating are all included in the bathroom. French doors leading out onto the terrace are part of the completely outfitted wood kitchen.
In the second bothy is a giant king bed en-suite bedroom, kitchen, and living space, all on the ground floor. Power shower, heated mirror and underfloor heating are included in the bathroom. French doors leading out onto the patio are part of the handmade, fully equipped wood kitchen.
The 50″ digital smart TV and colourful corner sofa in the TV cosy make it a comfortable area. Gaming and streaming work perfectly with our incredibly fast connection. Ponder the numerous volumes while you unwind in the serene library. In the wellness room with a view of the terrace, practise relaxing yoga poses.
Outside, you’ll find plenty of woodlands, boardwalks and bridges and trails to explore. It’s a beautiful natural playground. You’ll also find a seven acre meadow and river to enjoy.
You’re only a short 40 minute drive from the historic capital city of Edinburgh, or a 20 minute train journey from Drem Station.

Booking Information
To secure your booking at East Linton Manor House, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.

Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
