The Country Farmhouse sleeps up to 13 guests and boasts spacious living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining table large enough for those hearty group meals. Outside, the private heated swimming pool is yours to enjoy, perfect for summer afternoons or star-lit evenings.
Living Spaces – The property has 2,700 sq. ft of cozy and charming living accommodation, featuring a family room with a pool table for hours of entertainment and a snug with a fireplace, perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying a glass of wine. These inviting spaces are thoughtfully designed to offer comfort and warmth, seamlessly blending period charm with modern amenities.
The Kitchen – The heart of the home is the large dine-in kitchen, offering stunning views of the charming country garden. Fully equipped and perfect for group meals, this kitchen is designed to bring everyone together for hearty breakfasts, celebratory dinners, or late-night snacks.
The Bedrooms – With six beautifully appointed bedrooms spread across three floors, this elegant farmhouse offers luxurious accommodation for up to 12 guests, with the option to add a folding bed in the main bedroom for a 13th guest. If needed, the hire of the adjacent cottage boosts the accommodation to 18 guests. To secure your booking at The Markington Country Escape, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.

Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.

This can be included as part of The Markington Country Escape booking, providing additional capacity and ensuring total exclusivity. This beautifully renovated and fully modernised cottage, complete with a charming wood-burner, offers a cozy and inviting space spanning 540 sq. ft.The bedroom features a versatile king-size bed, which can be configured as two singles if needed, while the open-plan living area provides a spacious lounge, kitchen, and dining facilities. A comfortable sofa bed accommodates an additional two guests, with the option of a fold-out bed available upon request.
The outdoor space is a delightful extension of the cottage, accessible through double doors that open onto a private sun terrace and a spacious, fully enclosed rear garden—perfect for dogs to roam freely. With two dedicated parking spaces and a welcoming dog-friendly policy, this cottage ensures both convenience and comfort for guests and their four-legged companions.
