The Oxford Silverwood Holiday Home is a spacious retreat located close to Abingdon and the Cotswolds.
Silverwood has been designed for large group celebrations and can comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests across its 6 spacious bedrooms. Nestled within 3 acres of lush private grounds with ample parking space, this retreat offers an idyllic setting for relaxation and recreation.
The Silverwood country retreat is situated down a small lane with a few other houses nearby and has the prestigious Frilford Heath Golf Club next door with three separate courses. The property is only 20 minutes from the heart of Oxford with its wealth of restaurants, bars and attractions.
This unique and versatile complex has 4 bedrooms and 2 kitchens in the main house (South Wing) plus 2 further bedrooms in a self-contained annexe (North Wing); The Balcony Apartment and the Studio. Combined they total 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The property can be booked as two individual units, or combined for a much larger group.
Inside, you’ll find a modern and stylish interior adorned with high-quality furnishings, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable, alongside plenty of space for your group to feel relaxed.
The Silverwood Holiday complex can be booked entirely (main house & annexe), or parts of the house independently for smaller groups that need a space to stay near Oxford.
THE EXPANSIVE GARDEN
Silverwood boasts a gigantic south-facing garden making it a sun trap in the summer and a beautiful spot to watch the sun set. The initial patio next to the living room has a large outdoor table and seating, perfect for hosting drinks and firing up the BBQ griddle for a smokey feast.
The expansive garden is yours to do as you please – ideal for sporting activities with your friends and family, or equally pleasant and tranquil to take in the green landscape.
There is a covered zone in the garden with a luxurious hot tub, the perfect end-of-day reward after exploring Oxford or the nearby country surroundings. Additionally, there is a table tennis table to enjoy friendly or competitive games.
Pets are very welcome to attend family stays. Smoking is only permitted in the car park and not inside the house or in the garden.

To secure your booking at the Oxford Silverwood Holiday Home, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.

Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
