The Oxford Silverwood Holiday Home is a spacious retreat located close to Abingdon and the Cotswolds.
Silverwood has been designed for large group celebrations and can comfortably accommodate up to 23 guests across its 8 spacious bedrooms. Nestled within 3 acres of lush private grounds with ample parking space, this retreat offers an idyllic setting for relaxation and recreation.
The Silverwood country retreat is situated down a small lane with a few other houses nearby and has a golf course next door. The property is only 20 minutes from the heart of Oxford with its wealth of restaurants, bars and attractions.
This unique and versatile complex has 5 bedrooms and two kitchens in the main house plus 3 further self contained units; The Balcony Apartment, The Studio and The Undercroft. Combined they total 8 bedrooms and seven bathrooms. In the garden there is covered zone with hot tub and table tennis table, with patio areas to the East and South over looking the grounds.
Inside, you'll find a modern and stylish interior adorned with high-quality furnishings, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable.
The expansive outdoor space provides ample room for soaking up the sunshine, indulging in outdoor games, or simply taking in the serene surroundings. For those looking to unwind and pamper themselves, our property features a luxurious hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration or activities.
Oxford is just a short 20 minute drive away and at the end of the property's lane is a bust stop with easy access to Oxford city centre or Wantage. Less than one mile away is a Budgens for your quick self catering needs, and Millets Farm is a 3 minute drive. You'll find a farm shop, café garden centre, walks and family attractions here.
Next door to Silverwood and a hop away is a golf club with three courses. The perfect spot for a quick breakfast or lunch bite to eat, a round of golf or some drinks to celebrate your time away.
Abingdon Town is situated close to our holiday home and offers a beautiful river boat trip into Oxford city centre. On-site at Silverwood we can also offer an archery session for up to 10 guests. Furthermore, a 20 minute drive away is a high ropes activity course for you to test your nerves on.
