You’ll have not only the main house, but the property includes a cottage and lodge for your use. The property sleeps 21 guests in total: main house sleeps 13 guests and 4 guests each in the cottage and lodge.
Whether you’re raising a toast in the banquet-style dining area, curling up by the fire with a whisky in hand, or exploring the nearby beaches and golf courses, The Lothian Keep promises a stay like no other.

The Main House
Living Spaces to Impress
The Great Hall is the heart of the keep, boasting high vaulted ceilings, an open fireplace, and a sense of grandeur straight out of a historical epic. There’s plenty of space for everyone to gather, whether for evening drinks, board games, or just soaking up the castle-like surroundings. If you prefer a quieter setting, the house boasts a cosy library for some peace and quiet.
A Kitchen Fit for a Feast
While the setting may be medieval, the kitchen is anything but. Fully equipped with modern appliances and plenty of space for cooking, it’s ideal for preparing anything from hearty breakfasts to celebratory dinners. And if you’d rather leave the cooking to the pros, private catering can be arranged.

There are 7 lush bedrooms – each bedroom is a retreat in itself, featuring luxurious bedding, stylish decor, and views over the surrounding countryside. With en-suite bathrooms and plenty of space to unwind, getting a good night’s sleep is easy after a day of exploring.
The Cottage
The Cottage offers a stylish open-plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, including a full-size fridge freezer, washer/dryer, and dining area. The cosy seating area overlooks the terrace and lawn, creating a perfect space to unwind.
Two en-suite super king-size bedrooms feature flexible zip-and-link beds, luxurious window seats, and private bathrooms—one with an over-bath shower and the other with a spacious walk-in shower. With level access from a private parking area for two vehicles, the cottage combines comfort and convenience for a relaxing stay.
The Lodge
The Lodge offers a beautifully designed living space with a well-appointed kitchen, separated by a low floating wall from the cosy seating area overlooking the terrace and lawn.
Two en-suite super king-size bedrooms, both with zip-and-link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements, provide comfort and relaxation, with the North bedroom featuring a scenic window seat and an over-bath shower, while the South bedroom boasts a spacious walk-in shower.

Booking Information
To secure your booking at The Lothian Keep, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.

Security Deposit
Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
