This Oxford self catering holiday house is an excellent property for a weekend away set in a quiet location within the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, a short distance from Burford.
Merryphrey Barn is presented to a very high standard with up to six bedrooms and three bathrooms available. Internally the property retains many period features along with countless contemporary touches to give this a real high quality feel. The large ground floor has the feeling of being 'open plan' but actually has separate 'rooms'!
Oxford is just under 25 minutes from the property.
The Barn Accommodation
Downstairs
Kitchen, leading to separate Dining Room, leading to large Living Room, with large flat screen TV, DVD.
Bedroom with ensuite WC and wash basin.
Upstairs
There are four large bedrooms containing either double beds or two single beds. Two have ensuite shower rooms with WC and wash basin.
Family bathroom with bath, overhead shower within, WC and wash basin.
Outside
There is a further, sixth bedroom available which is detached from the main cottage. This is approx 10 paces from the entrance and is upstairs in this building. There is a WC and wash basin, which is on the ground floor, however it must be noted that at present this is accessed via external stairs. Please note: there is a separate charge for the extra bedroom, sleeping two.
Gardens
The gardens are enclosed with a 5 bar gate at the main entrance. To the side of the cottage is grassed courtyard with table and chairs, while to the rear is additional private garden containing outdoor space plus Hot Tub!
