          Really nice place for a Company celebration. The extras of food, cocktails and the use of the kitchen meant we were very well looked after. The rooms were all in exceptional condition and everyone that came for the weekend had a great time.

          Rachel - Perfect place for us

          This is a fantastic place to stay. We had the exclusive hire of the hotel for a surprise birthday celebration. With 28 adults and 13 kids, it was the perfect place for us. The lovely play room and cinema room kept the kids entertained and everyone enjoyed having a turn on the bar. Pool/darts were well used too. The kitchen was great for catering for a large group.

          The hosts left a lovely welcome hamper. We managed to host a line dancing / kareoke party in the dining area which is a great space. The hot tub was an added bonus too. The rooms were beautiful and spotless. Great location with lovely walks and bars close by. We honestly couldn’t fault anything. The hosts were super responsive and helped with any questions we had. They even popped to check we were all ok during our stay which was appreciated.

          Living & Social Spaces

          The heart of the house is built for bringing people together. There’s a relaxed living area with comfy seating, a central log burner, and plenty of space to unwind, alongside a games lounge with a pool table, foosball, and arcade. The private bar adds a fun, sociable edge and perfect for pouring your own drinks; keeping the night going without heading out. For something a bit different, the cinema room is a standout, ideal for group movie nights or a laid-back afternoon reset.

          Kitchen & Dining

          The kitchen is large, practical, and ready for group catering, whether you’re cooking yourselves or bringing in a private chef. It flows easily into the dining space, which comfortably hosts big group meals, celebrations, or events. There’s also a separate serving area with hot plates, making it simple to keep food and drinks flowing without interrupting the atmosphere. It’s all set up to make hosting feel easy.

          With 15 en-suite bedrooms, everyone gets their own space to switch off at the end of the day.           The Green Burrow is just a short drive from Sowerby Bridge, where you’ll find pubs, bars, and places to eat with plenty of character. The surrounding area is packed with scenic walks, canal paths, and countryside trails if you fancy getting outdoors. Nearby towns like Hebden Bridge and Halifax offer everything from independent shops to cultural spots and live events. You get the best of both worlds: peaceful surroundings with plenty going on close by.

            To secure your booking at The Green Burrow, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.

            Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.

            What is a security deposit and how does it work?

            A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.

            Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
