On the ground floor, the open-plan design keeps everyone connected. There’s a long dining table for big group dinners and a relaxing area with a wood-burning fire, comfy oversized sofas and a large TV loaded with sports, movies and music. It’s casual and comfortable, which is great for lazy brunches, evening drinks or a competitive round of darts in the cellar.
The kitchen is built for group cooking, complete with a gas and electric range cooker, loads of surface space and easy access to both the games cellar and patio. Whether you’re rustling up bacon sarnies or hosting a pizza night, this kitchen makes it easy to cook, serve and hang out all in one space. It’s modern, open and practical, perfect for shared meals and team cooking.
Each of the seven bedrooms comes with its own ensuite and 32’’ Freeview TV, making it easy to retreat and relax when you need a bit of downtime. Two of the rooms are family-sized, so it’s ideal if you’ve got kids in tow or want a bit more floor space. Think comfy, quiet and sorted for a good night’s sleep after a day in the hills or a night in the hot tub.
The west-facing roof terrace is made for catching the sunset with a drink in hand, and there’s also a patio out back for alfresco moments or a summer BBQ. The attic spa area, complete with a sauna and Jacuzzi-style hot tub, is a real showstopper and adds a luxurious twist to your stay. You’ve also got a games cellar for late-night darts or a football table tournament.
Set in a charming town in the Allen Valleys, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Hillfold Manor is perfectly placed for exploring the North Pennines, Hadrian’s Wall, or even the Lakes. There are walking and cycling routes right from the door, plus pubs, cafés and shops all within a short stroll. Hexham, just 10 miles away, offers even more to explore with markets, historic sites and everything you need for a day out.
To secure your booking at Hillfold Manor, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.
Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
