Bellehurst has been lovingly curated by its owners, and it shows. From the moment you arrive, the house feels warm, welcoming, and full of character. It’s a Victorian country retreat with a modern twist; ideal for those who want a bit of grandeur without the fuss.
Living Spaces
The living areas are made for lounging and laughing. There’s a cosy library with a fireplace and period details that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a scene from Bridgerton. The elegant dining room is perfect for long dinners and celebrations, with plenty of space to gather and toast to good times. The huge living room is equipped with a smart TV, so you can catch up on your shows or put on a themed movie night with everyone. The conservatory overlooks the gardens, so if the weather is a bit rubbish, you can spend hours in a bit of friendly competition with table tennis, pool or foosball. There are several board games available to you as well; perfect for a games night!
Kitchen
The kitchen is well-equipped and ready for action, whether you’re whipping up brunch or prepping for a dinner party. It’s spacious, stylish, and designed to make cooking feel like part of the fun, not a chore. It’s partially open plan to the kitchen, so you don’t have to worry about being left out of socialising if you’re the lead cook!
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
With multiple bedrooms, Bellehurst comfortably sleeps large groups without feeling crowded. Each room has its own charm, offering a mix of comfort and character. There are Relax in the gorgeous roll-top baths or freshen up in the rainfall showers. The bathrooms are equipped with Cowshed products; spa-inspired bath and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Outside Area
Step outside and you’ll find peaceful gardens perfect for morning coffees or evening chats. Sit in the comfortable Adirondack chairs with a cuppa and enjoy the large gardens. The log-burning hot tub is a standout feature, which is ideal for unwinding under the stars after a day of exploring or celebrating. There is plenty of space in the garden if you wanted to book outdoor activities (yoga anyone?) to take place at the house as well!

Located near Aldermaston, Bellehurst is close to some fantastic wedding venues like Wasing Park and The Old Mill. There’s a pub at the end of the road, and there’s plenty to do nearby too: from canal walks at Aldermaston Wharf to racing thrills at Newbury and Thruxton. Fancy something cultural? To secure your booking at Bellehurst Country House, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.

Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
