GORGE WALKING

Take a wet river walk at one of the most beautiful waterfall regions in South Wales. Gorge Walking offers a truly unique way to experience the stunning Welsh countryside. You’ll be led on this expedition by a highly experienced outdoor pursuit instructors.

You’ll follow the river down the gorge, scramble over rocks, leap into plunge pools, low level traversing, and helping eachother along the way.  Gorge Walking is exciting but can be a little scary, and there is no pressure for you to complete all of the elements involved. All relevant safety kit will be provided for gorge walking which includes: wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets and oversuits.

QUAD BIKING

Trek through the countryside on semi-automatic 90cc and 250cc Honda quads. All quad biking sessions start with a safety briefing and initial training on the practice circuit. Once our experienced instructors are happy with how you are controlling the vehicle, you proceed to follow them around our 360 acre working hill farm, over fields, through woodlands and over bumpy tracks. We will only guide you through parts of terrain that are suited to your ability.

CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING

Clay Pigeon Shooting is suitable for newcomers to the unique sport, and those that think they could hit a target a mile off. With excellent and highly motivated shooting instructors from a local shooting club, learn the skills needed to safely use shotguns, and how to properly aim and fire! If you’re one to brag about competition, you had better bring your A-game as you only have 25 shots – make them count!

Shots will be taken in sets of five. You’ll start with easier shots, working your way through to trickier shots, faster paced, different directions and ending with two at a time!

We also offer laser shooting which is very similar to clay pigeon shooting except you’re using a shotgun that has been deactivated and modified to use a laser. It’s the same traditional experience without any recoil and consequently, no bruising.

OBSTACLE COURSE

Have you got what it takes to tackle and finish our 2km assault course? Apparently, we have one of the biggest cargo net obstacles in the country! This is a great activity for team building, or a good excuse for some competition on a stag and hen party.
The course is designed to challenge both your mind and fitness. The obstacles will cover running, climbing, jumping, crawling, swimming, and balancing elements with the aim of testing team work and endurance. You are given a scenario and have a challenge to transport vital supplies along the course, you need to work together to get these supplies over each obstacle, as well getting yourselves over them! We won’t tell you anymore than that as it’s a top secret mission… but it adds to the thrill and challenge!

Rather than timing the event we run a points scoring system and have a leader board for the groups.
We have over 16 obstacles and it’s still growing! Obstacles include;

• Vertical wall to traverse
• Burma Bridge, balancing across a rope
• Tyre run and Tyre lines
• Tunnel crawl

• 50ft Cargo Net to climb over
