Welcome to the fabulous Cotswold Estate, a magical setting for your break away near Oxford. The Grade II listed, 17th Century Old Manor House and historic cottages are exquisitely set in the centre of their own sweeping parkland, pasture and woodland and are approached through cast-iron entrance gates, down a long, private, tree-lined carriage drive past streams and a beautiful wildlife pond.

The estate lies within glorious, rolling Cotswold countryside with magnificent views, wonderful walks and total privacy; yet is not isolated being only a short drive to the vibrant, historic, University City of Oxford plus a delightful Cotswold Pub and Restaurant is just a short walk away. Stag and Hen Groups are welcome with the wonderful night-life of Oxford being very close by.

The Manor House and the adjacent Cottages are very spacious and luxurious, full of charm and character and, with a total of 17 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, can sleep up to 45 adults.


The Manor House

The Manor House sleeps up to 26 adults in 9 bedrooms and has a stunning conservatory and dining room seating 30, a charming, historic sitting room with a cosy log burning stove set in an inglenook fireplace and a large farmhouse kitchen.


The Cottages & Barn

Cottage 1: This historic cottage sleeps up to 13 adults in 5 bedrooms and has a beamed sitting room, a large dining room seating 19, a professionally equipped kitchen and full under-floor heating. There are HD TVs and DVD/CD players in the sitting room and most bedrooms. There is a fantastic Spa and Hot Tub, an outdoor table and chairs and a Barbeque privately set on the exclusive south-facing patio and extensive, safely fenced and gated lawns.

Cottage 2: The second Cottage sleeps up to 6 adults in 3 bedrooms and has a dining room and kitchen, under-floor heating and a superb Games Room with a Pool/Snooker Table, Football Machine and a PlayStation 3. There are HD TVs and DVD/CD players in the sitting room and every bedroom.

Barn: The beautifully converted Barn, is set in the gorgeous Formal Garden, has tables and chairs for 60 guests and is an ideal venue for a celebration banquet, dinner, buffet or reception. Its has a full bar with a drinks fridge, a sink and water heater, an MP3 audio system, electric heating and a cloakroom with a toilet and basin.


Facilities

Full Sky+ High Definition TV service, with Movies and Sports, and Complimentary Wireless Broadband internet access are provided in The Manor House and Cottages plus there are TVs and DVD players in every bedroom. The Manor House has a gorgeous Jacuzzi Bath and a fantastic Spa and Hot Tub beautifully set in a decked gazebo in the delightful formal garden. Cottage 2 has a superb Games Room with a Pool and Snooker Table, Football Machine, Electronic Darts Board and a PlayStation 3. Cottage 1 has a Spa and Hot Tub privately situated in its south facing garden.

We can offer exclusive Privilege Guest status at the nearby Witney Lakes Resort (2 miles) allowing our guests to enjoy all their, normally members only, facilities at discounted rates. These include the fabulous Health Club with its Indoor Heated Pool, hot-tub, gym, sauna, steam-room and fitness centre, the Golf Club, which has an 18 hole, par 71, 6500 yard course, and the Retreat Spa, offering a range of beauty, facial and body treatments. Clay Pigeon Shooting, Simulated Game and Activity Days are available nearby.

The estate is Fully Organic and specialises in breeding endangered species of cattle, sheep, goats and chickens, allowing viewing at close quarters of some of our most attractive and historic British breeds. You will adore the docile Gloucester cattle, the huge Cotswold sheep (traditionally known as the 'Cotswold Lion') with their gorgeous fluffy spring lambs, the Brahma chickens with their big feathery feet and the magnificent, critically-endangered Bagot Goats.
