Welcome to the fabulous 17th Century Cotswold Estate, a magical setting for your break away near Oxford. The Granary is exquisitely set in it’s own sweeping parkland, pasture and woodland and is approached through cast-iron entrance gates, down a long, private, tree-lined carriage drive.
Perfect for stag and hen groups, this lovely property is approximately 35 minutes away from the beautiful city that is Oxford, where you and your group can check out the restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs.

About Oxford Granary
The Granary lies within glorious, rolling Cotswold countryside with magnificent views, wonderful walks and total privacy; yet is not isolated being only a short drive to the vibrant, historic, University City of Oxford plus a delightful Cotswold Pub and Restaurant is just a short walk away. London is an hour away and Cheltenham is a 30 minute drive.
Each of these Oxford self catering properties have their own private lawns and grounds and can be booked individually, in any combination or all together to sleep up to 40 adults. Stag and Hen Groups are welcome with the wonderful nightlife of Oxford being very close by.
The Granary has a striking open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with high beamed ceiling and oak wood flooring. The modern kitchen is fully integrated with fridge freezer, oven, dishwasher and ample work top space. Super fast ‘Air Fibre’ broadband is provided plus there is a 32in HD TV and a DVD player in the sitting room, and TVs in some bedrooms. Set on the edge of our formal courtyard, the property enjoys far reaching views across the parkland.
Guests have exclusive use of a hot-tub, BBQ and patio furniture set in private lawns, and shared use of 70 acres of parkland with natural ponds/picnic areas and a games barn An Event Barn is also hireable; ideal for meetings, fun classes, team building exercises, celebrations and more.
The Granary has 5 bedrooms sleeps 14 to 16 guests at the rates quoted on the booking calendar below. If booking for more than the 14 guest standard occupancy , the rate will incrementally rise and we install additional full size beds in bedrooms and seating in the dining room to customise the house for your stay. Some single beds can also be zipped to form doubles when requested with a minimum week’s notice. NB restrictive head height to first floor eaves.

Booking Information
To secure your booking at The Granary near Oxford, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.
Security Deposit
Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
