Whitmour Stone Chapel is a Grade II listed building which dates back to 1817. This Nottingham holiday accommodation can sleep up to 20 guests which makes it perfect for large groups looking for a well-equipped, comfortable and good value base for their weekend away.
There’s a huge 40ft galleried and beamed lounge with a 18ft ceiling. The chapel has 8 bedrooms some with ensuite facilities, plus 2 lounges, so there’s plenty of space for everyone.

About Whitmour Stone Chapel
This fine stone-built property is in the heart of a Conservation area, close to the centre of a market town, right on the doorstep of the Derbyshire Peak District National Park. The town offers many handy shops, including some that are glad to deliver to you, a wealth of real ale and family style pubs, and an excellent range of restaurants. But for more action, you can head into Nottingham which is about 40 minutes drive away.
The main rooms of the property consist of a very large 40ft galleried and beamed first floor lounge with overlooking balustraded dining gallery, an extra ground floor lounge, a Beamed fitted kitchen with range oven, utility/drying room and Finnish Sauna Suite.
The stunning accommodation has 4 bedrooms on the ground floor, 1 double room & 2 twin rooms and a room with 3 single beds. It also has 4 bedrooms on the First floor: 2 double rooms, one room with a double bed plus a 1single bed, and a triple room as well as a double sofa bed in the lounge.
The property also boasts 5 baths/ showers, the bathroom with toilet, basin and separate electric shower, shower room with toilet and basin. En suite bathroom with bath, walk in shower, toilet and basin to one of the twin bedrooms. On the first floor there is a shower room with toilet and basin, gallery shared en-suite bathroom with toilet, basin and shower tap.
Outside the property is the chapel has a secluded, private and enclosed garden with a brick barbecue and two picnic tables for summer use. The property also has private parking for up to 4 vehicles just to the rear of the Chapel, with nearby short-stay and long-stay car parks.
