Duck, hide and shoot your way to paintballing victory in our massive 52 acre woodland site. You’ll need both skills and strategy to succeed across six exciting games with various scenarios and objectives. From Fort to Detonation to the Hole. During each game players are eliminated when a paintball hits them and bursts marking them with a vivid coloured dye. You will usually only be out of the game for 5-10 minutes, then it's back in to the action. Games last between 10 and 30 minutes according to skill or good fortune, so even if you get hit you won't be out of action for long.
Players are dressed in camouflage gear, wear protective goggles and hoods and use the latest paintball marking guns.
You’ll be quad biking using our 180cc and 150cc bikes that are designed to tackle the toughest of trails. On our singletrack trails you’ll have to navigate over hills, humps and bumps, bridge, climbs, drops and the off water splash. The trail lasts for 30 minutes and you’re given a full safety briefing prior to your trail time. Once you’re happy with the controls you’ll warm up with a short test ride to get used to the handling and ground conditions. Then you’re on to the trails!
The speed of the trail will be dependent on your group’s ability and confidence. The trail consists of many different routes running through woods, over fields and on to the off road tracks. We tailor the routes ridden to the ability of the group; some are really quite testing whilst others are great for those new to Quad Biking.
Off Road Buggies
Get behind the wheel of our hefty 400cc Thunderhawk Biz Off-Road Buggies and throw up some major dirt around two custom built driving circuits. You’ll suit up with safety equipment and have a quick induction so that you’re confident and comfortable operating the buggy. You’ll then head out to the lower track to test your skills. You'll be sliding around the corners, launching over the flyover bridge and hanging on to the bermed bends. We'll then transfer across to the second Off Road Buggy track for a time trial, here you'll be against the clock on the faster Rally-X style circuit, combining dirt and concrete surfaces.
Depending on weather conditions, we’ll run up to 4 buggies on each circuit at once. Occasionally the weather beats us, and we are unable to operate the Off Road Buggies. If this is the case we reserve the right to offer an alternative activity, usually Quad Biking or Indoor Karting, we do try to give you as much notice as possible.
Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting
Laser clay pigeon shooting is an increasingly popular activity with its social appeal and ability to be rewarding and fun for both newcomers and experienced shooters. Each player uses a modified shotgun to fire an infrared beam at real clays launched from a real clay launcher. Whenever a trigger is pulled, the digital control module/scoreboard generates the shotgun 'bang' and when a player hits the target it reproduces the sound of a breaking clay. Laser clay pigeon shooting is the same as real clay shooting, except there’s no kick-back and risk of bruising.
Archery is a “must do” activity for everyone (especially as Nottingham is the home of Robin Hood!). We have a range of bows and arrows for you to shoot at a variety of targets. You will be given full instructions on how to handle and shoot the weapons before heading out onto the range.
Due to safety reasons we sadly cannot offer a service where you shoot apples off of other participant’s heads… but there will be some skillful target shooting that will require a sharp eye and a steady hand! Once you’ve got the hand of archery, we’ll add in a competitive edge for those of you that have to know who the real top dog is.
Human Table Football
Imagine a table football… now blow that up 20 times bigger with you and your friends as the players! Yes, that’s exactly what inflatable human table football looks like. The “pitch” will accommodate two teams of 5-6 players. When you step onto the pitch you’ll be attached to the bars with Velcro and handles so that you can only move left and right. Because you’re sharing bars with fellow teammates, you’ll have to coordinate your movements carefully. The game will be referred and substitutions are allowed. Great fun and laughs for everyone involved!
