Grandview CottagesΒ comprising of 6 single storey farm cottages and a magnificent galleried beamed period barn. This property is located on the edge of the New Forest.
Situated in a farmyard, each of the holiday cottages has a private patio and there is a shared garden next to the River Avon with views over unspoilt New Forest water meadows. The barn has its own garden with panoramic views of the New Forest and Avon Valley.
A short walk from the cottages is a good pub, a high class restaurant and of course paths through the New Forest. Both Southampton and Bournemouth are a 30-40 minute drive away.
This magnificent newly converted period barn with original exposed beams and brickwork, is great for large groups as it can sleep 16-18 guests. It has a large living area which features a first floor gallery. The barn has its own private garden with panoramic views of the New Forest and Avon Valley.
There are 2 double bedrooms, 4 twin bedded rooms and a large sofa bed in the living area. In addition the gallery can be set up as a sitting room or a bedroom with 4 single beds or 2 twin bedded rooms. There are 6 bathrooms including a disabled wet room.
The huge living area includes a dining table that can seat 24, 5 large sofas, a widescreen TV with Freeview, video, DVD, Hi-Fi and log burner. The kitchen has 2 cookers, a fridge freezer, 2 dishwashers, 2 washing machines, tumble dryer and microwave. Outside of the barn there is parking for 10 cars.
There are 6 cottages which vary in size to sleep up to a maximum of 8 people. All the cottages have 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. The majority of them have a sofa bed in the living room with open plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. It also has TV with freeview and DVD player with a shower room with basin and WC as well asΒ patio with table, chairs, umbrella and BBQ.
There is a large games barn measuring 80ft x 40ft has table tennis and soft tennis, table football and a pool table.
To secure your booking at the Grandview Cottages, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.
Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
