High in the hills on the southern edge of the Lake District, Echo Peak Mansion offers something truly different. With sweeping views, bold retro design, and space to sleep 22 guests, it’s a group escape that’s as much about the experience as the location.
Bold Bedrooms with Retro Style
The 9 en-suite bedrooms are a feast of 1980s colour and design. Each one is completely unique, with vintage touches, cartoon wallpapers, and imaginative furnishings that give every space its own personality. Whether you’re into neon, nostalgia, or just want somewhere memorable to rest your head, these rooms deliver.
Each bedroom includes a modern en-suite bathroom with a rainfall shower, and one features an indulgent freestanding bath.
Open-plan kitchen, dining and games room
At the heart of the house is a full-sized American-style diner which is a brilliant spot for group breakfasts, lunches and dinner whilst soaking in the throwback 80s vibes. Right next door, the casino-style games room is ready for serious fun, with a poker table, roulette wheel, blackjack, arcade machines, and mood lighting that brings it all to life.
The fun continues with a car simulator, air hockey, foosball, and a retro photo booth. This house was built for entertainment.
Mountain views, al-fresco dining and hot tub stargazing
Step outside and you’ll find one of the most impressive outdoor setups in the Lake District. Perched high above the valley, Echo Peak Mansion offers total privacy, panoramic scenery, and a layout made for groups who love to relax, dine, and enjoy the fresh air together.
Two large hot tubs are perfectly placed for sunset stargazing, while the barrel sauna is ready for a post-hike wind-down. There’s also an outdoor pool table and ping pong table too incase you hadn’t had enough entertainment and games inside..
Dining outdoors is effortless here. A huge table and bench-style seating area means everyone can eat together al fresco. Fire up the outdoor pizza oven, light the BBQ, and enjoy the view with a cold drink in hand. When it’s time to chill, grab a spot on one of the sun loungers and settle into the peaceful mountain setting.

Booking Information
To secure your booking at Echo Peak Mansion, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.

Security Deposit
Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
