This house is in a remote location that is an approximate 20 minute drive to the Cardiff City Centre where you have the opportunity to explore the sites and sounds Cardiff has to offer, including its restaurants, pubs, bars and shops. Or if you just fancy chilling in the pool with a drink in hand you are more than welcome to do so!

About Homestead Lodge
Homestead Lodge is a Cardiff self catering house that sleeps up between 15 to 25 guests. 15 guests can sleep in the lodge and 10 people can sleep in the detached bunkhouse within the private grounds approximately 50 metres from the main house. Homestead lodge has its own outdoor heated swimming pool and 10 seat hot tub situated in the grounds of 17th century Hensol Castle, in an idyllic countryside setting.
The lodge itself has four bedrooms, consisting of 3 double beds and 5 single beds. There are also two double sofa beds and the option of 5 extra camp beds. The detached bunkhouse has an extra two bedrooms capable of sleeping 10 guests in 1 King sized bed and 4 Bunk beds and an additional bathroom.
The large lounge has a TV with Sky package. There is also a large conservatory with extra sofas, a great space for entertaining your group!
The kitchen diner has a large table for your party to all eat and socialise together, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an American freestanding fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave and iron/ironing board.
The lodge has an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by large gardens. There is a large patio area around the poolside and a 10 seat hot tub which provides a great space to get together for a drink with your group and enjoy the sun when it shines!
Cardiff city centre sits a short 20 minute drive away so Homestead Lodge is the perfect base for large groups looking to visit the Welsh capital.
Homestead Lodge is suitable for large groups of families and friends celebrating, and well behaved stag and hen weekends looking for a country retreat to relax and have fun.

To secure your booking at the Cardiff Homestead Lodge, you will need to pay a small deposit. The remaining final balance will be due 8 weeks before your booking date.

Please note there is a mandatory security deposit due 1 week prior to your check-in.
What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
