The Cardiff Hen House is a stylish five-storey Grade II listed house that used to be operated as highly rated boutique hotel. Now, this masterpiece has been transformed into a haven for extraordinary group getaways in Cardiff.
The house is stag and hen friendly, and suitable for all groups looking for a central comfortable space to relax and socialise, whilst exploring the beauty of Cardiff city. Located in Cardiff Bay only moments from the bars, restaurants and leisure attractions of Mermaid Quay, including comedy clubs, a cinema and waterbus service. The centre of Cardiff is less than 8 minutes away which can easily be reached by train, bus or taxi.
You’ll find seven beautiful bedrooms across this spacious haven, all with their own appointed en-suite bathrooms. One bedroom even boasts a whirlwind bath for some serious pampering. The Hen House can easily be configured to accommodate a range of group sizes.
The cavernous basement kitchen is a chef’s dream. A massive gas hob, twin ovens, a microwave-oven, an American-style fridge-freezer, and a dishwasher ensure culinary creations of any scale are a breeze. The dining table can accommodate the entire group of 16 guests and there’s also a separate breakfast station that incorporates an extra fridge in case the large fridge can’t accommodate the weekend’s wine or beer!
The basement is also has a sprawling living room space with sofas, bean bags and a 60″ TV screen. The space is absolutely perfect for fun and games, and plenty of socialising with your troupe of friends and family.

What is a security deposit and how does it work?
A security deposit is a good behaviour bond that is ring-fenced in your account on the week that you check-in. The security deposit is to encourage guests to keep the property clean and tidy and leave it as it is found. It’s also to deter any damages or noise complaints.
Providing there are no damages or complaints, the funds ring-fenced in your account will be automatically released back to you 7-10 days after check-out. You will be sent further information regarding the security deposit post-booking.
