The menu at Café Rouge covers a range of French classics, from croques and baguettes to more substantial meals such as steak frites and bœuf bourguignon. Likewise the wines are all French, many from lesser known regional producers.

Mushrooms in a garlic and cream sauce on grilled bread

Smooth chicken liver pâté, with bread and Mediterranean chutney
DEMI POULET
Half roast chicken flavoured with thyme and black pepper, served with French fries and salad garnish
FISH AND CHIPS
Battered fish fillet, served with French fries and tartare sauce
TAGINE
Moroccan style stew of butternut squash, carrots, spinach, chickpeas and courgettes, seasoned with ras el hanout and harissa finished with toasted almonds and chilli & coriander chutney. Served with spiced coriander couscous
CRÈME BRÛLÉE
Traditional set vanilla pod custard with caramelised top and strawberry & black pepper sorbet
