Put a unique spin on the traditional afternoon experience by jumping on a double decker bus and exploring the sights of Brighton whilst sipping on tea and enjoying tasty savoury and sweet treats. The Brighton Afternoon Tea experience is the perfect way to see Brighton and start your hen party.
About Afternoon Tea Tour around Brighton
This tour will allow you and your group to discover the sites and sounds that Brighton has to offer whilst enjoying a traditional Afternoon Tea.
The Tour is run on a1960’s vintage Red Routemaster bus around Brighton and its surroundings. The tour lasts 1 and a half hours. The tour route runs along the seafront to Hove, up Grand Avenue, along the back of Hove to Seven Dials and down by Brighton Station, through the lanes, down past the Dome and Roya Pavilion before heading out along the coastline to Saltdean.
The tour stop briefly at Saltdean for people to enjoy the view and visit public restrooms. Then we head back along the coast to Pool Valley. 1960’s classics are played throughout the tour and a light touch commentary is provided on key locations that we pass by.
The Afternoon Tea is served on board the bus and consist of a selection of finger sandwiches, sausage roll or savoury tartlet, dessert cake pot, selection of 4 individual mini cakes (or 3 and a macaron) and the traditional buttermilk scone with jam and clotted cream.
Classic Afternoon Tea includes unlimited hot and cold soft drinks (selection of teas from a local supplier, coffee and iced tea – decaf options available). Option is available to add prosecco or gin to the afternoon tea and add extra drinks if needed. Extra items are also available such as large bottles of prosecco. Please ask for a bespoke Afternoon Tea Tour package.
