York Multi Activity Country pursuits Site

Based near York, the Activity Centre covers 34 acres and includes purpose built embankments, an exciting off-road driving course with steep gradients, water gullies and mud swamps.

York 4X4 off road driving

The purpose built 4x4 off-road driving circuit is set in 14 acres of exacting terrain and is designed to test both novice drivers and those with existing experience. The course layout includes steep ascents and descents, water gulleys and mud 'bomb holes.'

Novice drivers, under supervision, will learn to tackle the simple slopes and then progress to the more daunting challenges that the course will demand. More experienced drivers/owners will be able to discover the full extent of just what their vehicles are capable of.

York Quad biking

Get the feel of the 200cc Quads and then try your skill on the slalom where precise and skilful driving is more important than speed.
The circuit is not designed for racing, more to promote 'all round' skills - but watch the rivalry develop as each quad bike driver tries to show off their pace!

Quad biking is suitable for both sexes with the minimum of driving experience. Full training is given under expert tuition by professional instructors.

York Clay shooting

Clay Pigeon Shooting is an activity well suited to appeal to both men and women and as a group event, is an excellent team builder.

Under the expert tuition of the experienced instructors, groups will begin with some practice target shooting to get the feel of the guns and learn the safety procedures before moving on to be divided into teams and challenged with targets fired from high and low towers on the purpose built ranges.

Finally, the teams will move into the light hearted competition and then see the rivalry begin!

York off road grass karting

Pitch your driving skills in the grass kart racers. Equipped with 4 point racing harness and full roll cages, these karts can really move! Suitable for both men and women with a minimum age of sixteen. Each race consists of practice laps with the crucial flying timed laps to establish the quickest driver. The oval off road dirt buggy circuit is a real handful in the summer, and even more skill is required in the winter.
