There is nothing quite like the Olympic Games! And now it's your turn to go higher, faster and longer…

In celebration of London hosting the 2012 Olympic Games, we create the same passion, fervour, grit and determination that it will take to attain the ultimate - a gold medal. Just like the real Olympics, your event will include both an inventive and creative Opening and Closing ceremony. The main event will contain instances of pure magic, lows of downright despair, flashes of emotional angst, epic triumphs of teamwork and even instances of utter desperation to win!

Going for Gold Challenges

The challenges are as varied as they are unusual. Occasionally they may bear a resemblance to an Olympic event, but more often than not, we try to encourage and reinforce the sheer power of unadulterated teamwork! We want to demonstrate that 'the sum is always greater than the whole' and that you can have an extraordinary amount of fun trying to be the best.

We want you to feel the exhilaration of achieving the seemingly impossible, to metaphorically 'spill blood' and 'sweat tears' of utter joy and elation as your team triumphs because it has achieved the seemingly impossible. There will be examples of sheer anxiety that, through teamwork, will transform into victory!

A vast array of challenges is available to complement every option; from the physically challenging to the mentally dextrous and intellectually challenging. Teams always compete against another and everyone is involved throughout.

Going for Gold is tailored to be both challenging and fun, but most of all, it's about teamwork so that the lessons learned on the track and field can be transferred to the workplace and beyond.
