Yacht Racing weekends from Brighton Marina
On a match racing day we can charter six identical yachts for a challenging series of sailing races. So whether you're looking for a competitive day out of the office or if you have a group of friends who desire an exhilarating day on the water then the Match Racing Day is for you. No previous sailing experience is necessary.
Yacht racing has long been trusted as a superb team building developer, testing individuals and teams alike to perform under pressure of competition.
The boats are Sigmas 8s, picked for their race pedigree and nimble attributes and we have six of these at our disposal. With a crew of five and the skipper we can offer a Match Racing Experience for up to thirty sailors from the base in Brighton Marina!
A sailing day does not require any previous experience as full instruction will be available through out any day afloat.
Whether you're looking for a relaxing experience or a dynamic and exciting activity, yacht racing will be the answer, with a little sophistication thrown in.
The itinerary for a perfect sailing day out
The yachts are Sigmas 8s (or similar), picked for their race pedigree and nimble attributes.
Every yacht comes with a skipper and with a little practice they are easy to master.
9.30am The professional qualified staff will greet you for breakfast (additional cost), followed by a briefing from our operations manager on the days activities.
9.45am Sailing familiarisation on board the yachts. The skippers teach novices the basics and share their knowledge with those with more experience. By the end of the morning, everyone is prepared for the afternoons activities.
12.30pm Return to shore for lunch followed by a race briefing and the usual taunts of who will be victorious by the end of the day!
14.00pm Set sail again for a series of short races between the boats. As the yachts are identical the racing is very tactical and extremely exciting.
17.00pm De-brief and presentation.
After the race, you will return to the mooring and then over to the Yacht Club for the race results.
These easy to handle yachts are designed for exhilarating close quarter racing. Again you will have full use of the qualified staff to ensure a fun packed time on the water.

The Brighton Sigma Sailing experience is based either in the morning or afternoon. Brighton Marina has plenty of facilities, including changing rooms, bars, hotels, night clubs, etc. Just ask if you would like us to organise the perfect water sports weekend for you!

We find and supply the accommodation you want
We start right in the middle of the city centers for which ever destination you desire and then work our way out. The price we quote will be for a hotel or equivalent accommodation provider, all quoted prices are a starting point so you know approximately the price of a hen or stag weekend package, and this depends on the time of year and availability. The earlier you book the cheaper it will be.

Premier + Class - Luxury 4 star Brighton Hotel Accommodation
This 4 star Brighton hotel is situated in a premier position on the promenade overlooking the sea. Top facilities include a restaurant, lounge and bar. Health club with swimming pool, sauna, sunbed and gym. In addition to this, the hotel has a hairdressing salon and two health and beauty treatment rooms.

Accommodation for your weekend
Our accommodation service is easy to use, all hotel accommodation will have been officially accredited, so 3 star, 4 star and 5 star has been assigned to the property via a independently accrediting source - not us!
We can provide room only, bed and breakfast, half board and full board if you would like us to organise all your catering requirements. Accommodation will be based on room only unless otherwise specified. Please request room structure, twins, doubles, and we can sometimes offer triples if you wish to include the odd number, so everyone is together as much as possible.
All hotel accommodation is based on availability, and changes constantly, we do not hold any rooms without a deposit.
Night life for your weekend break
As part of your stag or hen weekend package we will include VIP night club entry.
The clubs will be centrally located and stag and hen friendly, so no problems should occur as your group is a stylish more refined stag or hen party.
VIP Express Entry, means we have organised your group to be added to the guest list, the night club will be aware of your arrival and expecting you. For you this means walking past lengthy queues, smiling as not everyone is organised, and then straight through the doors to start your evening in style with minimal precious time lost.

All stag and hen weekend packages and breaks include express night club entry usually on the Saturday evening, if you require additional nights then please let us know .
