Welcome to our Edinburgh Country pursuits page, on this page you will see a number of the 'highest quality' multi off road and country sports activities which make for a great day out. The activities are located at our great site in Edinburgh. For information or advice on any of the options below please contact the office either by phone or via the enquiry button - don't forget to let us know which activities you are interested in!
To offer some guidance, if you have a small group; 8-10, then you can opt for just one activity, however if your groups bigger then opt for 2 options, it provides a much better experience and keeps the group on the activities all the time. Always think about archery, clay shooting, high ropes, or highland games courses as these always add to the experience, they also only add £10-£20 to the overall costs but really make the difference.
Most of the activities are on a 'slot ' format ie, 2-3 hours per group depending on what you opt for, this can be altered for larger groups and corporate clients, but remember if you have a small group and only want 1 option then the time will reflect this.
The Activities
4X4 Off Road Driving
Using technical courses, safari courses or even blind fold driving, 4x4 tests driving ability and often surprises at how encapsulating the experience becomes. The 4x4 vehicles are very easy to drive, we always supply an instructor to help with tuition and you will be surprised at exactly what the vehicles can actually do.
The Edinburgh 4x4 track is designed to introduce drivers to the skill of negotiating a variety of terrains including steep ascents, descents and traverses. Mud holes and river rides make this track a must for aspiring offroaders.
Clay Shooting
Edinburgh's purpose build Clay Shooting range incorporates four professionally built butts offering incoming, driven or crossing birds. Hitting your clay and seeing it burst in the sky guarantees a real buzz!
ATV Quad biking
Quad bike rambles, obstacle or time trials. Don't be fooled these ATV bikes really are the real deal, capable of going almost anywhere a 4x4 off vehicle can!
Using a fleet of modern Yamaha Grizzly quads, these bikes are easily mastered and great fun. You will go on Safari following the instructor exploring the park and woodland with a wide variety of obstacles to cross.
Archery
The Archery Range is built to a high spec offering a variety of targets and distances encouraging natural progression and achievement. Hugely satisfying skill to develop with a thwack of the arrow hitting the bull.
High Ropes
The MadMax high ropes course can be used as a single activity session or as part of a MAD (multi activity day) session. Crate Climb, Leap of Faith, Jacob's Ladder and Death Slide will all get the adrenaline pumping
Highland Games
Choose Highland Games as a stand alone half day event or as part of a MAD session. Lots of fun events with Cabre Toss, Putt the Stane, Haggis Hurling, Farmer's Dash, Whisky Tasting and much more!

We find and supply the accommodation you want
We start right in the middle of the city centers for which ever destination you desire and then work our way out. The price we quote will be for a hotel or equivalent accommodation provider, all quoted prices are a starting point so you know approximately the price of a hen or stag weekend package, and this depends on the time of year and availability. The earlier you book the cheaper it will be.

Luxury 4 and 5 star accommodation, the hotels are in prominate centralised locations. Many with their own swimming pools and health clubs! We often have exceptional rates and can offer upgrades to 5 star for 4 star hotel prices.

Accommodation for your weekend
Our accommodation service is easy to use, all hotel accommodation will have been officially accredited, so 3 star, 4 star and 5 star has been assigned to the property via a independently accrediting source - not us!
All hotel accommodation is based on availability, and changes constantly, we do not hold any rooms without a deposit.
We can provide room only, bed and breakfast, half board and full board if you would like us to organise all your catering requirements. Accommodation will be based on room only unless otherwise specified. Please request room structure, twins, doubles, and we can sometimes offer triples if you wish to include the odd number, so everyone is together as much as possible.
Self Catering Accommodation
We also offer self catering accommodation so if you need a self catering apartment for a luxury hen party, a self catering house for a refined stag weekend or you desire a self catering cottage in the country for the girls, we can help. Take a look at our range of self catering accommodation.
Night life for your weekend break
As part of your stag or hen weekend package we will include VIP night club entry.
The clubs will be centrally located and stag and hen friendly, so no problems should occur as your group is a stylish more refined stag or hen party.
VIP Express Entry, means we have organised your group to be added to the guest list, the night club will be aware of your arrival and expecting you. For you this means walking past lengthy queues, smiling as not everyone is organised, and then straight through the doors to start your evening in style with minimal precious time lost.
Hassle Free Stress Free Night Club Entry
All stag and hen weekend packages and breaks include express night club entry usually on the Saturday evening, if you require additional nights then please let us know .
Our advice is simple, please book into a club even if you choose to try and do it yourself - get yourself pre-booked in, your whole weekend and enjoyment depends on a hassle free - stress free weekend.

Friday
- *Arrival Reception - drinks waiting at the bar to welcome you after your journey
- Check into rooms, get settled in for the weekend
- Boy's night - nice and easy, start with the local bars
- *Add a private poker lesson, tuition at the casino
- *Evening Meal - let us organise the perfect restaurant in advance, (it's much easier than walking around trying to find something suitable on the night!)
Saturday
- *Full English Breakfast (add it if you haven't done so already, saves time)
- *Let us organise transport to your first activity
- Your activity as described
- *Lunch either at the venue or a local pub
- *Continue the activity day with either more sports on site or we can transfer you to a whole new experience
- *Transfer after the activities back to your hotel for a quick shower
- Saturday - the big night out
- *Feed me - ask and we will find exactly what you're looking for
- Club Night entry - Guest list access to suitable club. Walk straight past the long queues with our VIP express entry passes. (Included with all weekend packages)
Sunday
- *Full Breakfast (add it to your weekend)
- Check out of the hotel
- *A round of golf to finish off the perfect stag weekend away
- *After a drink at the 19th hole it's home time
