London Multi Activity Site

The London multi activity is an off road driving activity centre, on the Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire border, just a few minutes from the M1 at Junction 9. Operating Rage Off-Road Buggies, Quad Bikes using a 'kick start' style agility course and 4x4 Driving. Great facilities for additional non driving activities for larger corporate style events or parties. Catering and function rooms are also available.

London 4X4 off road driving

Using the 4x4 off road vehicles test you're driving skill on this technical off road course.

The rugged off road vehicles operate on some 11 acres of landscaped and specifically designed 4x4 course.

Guests are always amazed at what they are able to achieve with this vehicle as it slowly explores its way up steep inclines, through deep water halfway up the doors, and drops slowly into impossible looking holes. Being pressed against the window with the vehicle tilted sideways round a banked corner - the wing mirror almost touching the ground is an experience not to be missed.

Use this London technical 4x4 driving course to perfect your driving ability or if its a new experience then prepare to learn some new skills. Your instructors close at hand to help out with any difficulties and to alleviate any tension that the vehicle can go up the sheer face you are peering at and it will not roll over if you follow their instructions!

Learn about the importance of engine braking, and the correct techniques of tackling rough terrain with our experienced off road instructors. Sessions with up to 4 people at a time per vehicle can be shared among a group.

A full driving licence is required for this activity.

London Quad biking agility course

Using a small fleet of 100cc two-stroke, easy to ride, fully automatic quad bikes. Perfectly balanced for the quad agility course, they have enough power to wheelie off the throttle!

Anyone who remembers 'Kick Start' on the TV will appreciate what we have tried to achieve with what is now nicknamed the 'Quobstacle Course'.

Being a low to mid speed quad biking track guests find this to be a very safe way of operating quad bikes, whilst being quite demanding (particularly to novices) and loads of fun. Using a range of obstacles including see saws, ramps, log rolls, pallet stacks and lots of landscaped ground to challenge our guests and helps us to instruct on safe use of quads.

Just imagine trying to control a quad bike on its brakes down a steep hill, while trying to turn a corner at the same time, through some muddy water at the bottom - and then climb back out with wet, muddy tyres. Having got that out of the way, it's straight into one of our see-saws with a long drop on the far side.

Most People find that a quad biking session of around 20-30 minutes quad agility at a time is enough, as this can be physically quite demanding. This activity is not recommended for persons much over 6 feet or 16 stone. Minimum age for participants is 16 years. This activity can be affected by adverse weather conditions

London Rage Buggies

Rage Buggies are a custom built fully automatic dune buggy style vehicle using a 600cc Honda V-twin engine. With some 14 inches of suspension travel and massive dirt tyres, these soak up all the lumps and bumps you can throw at them at up to their claimed top speed of 50mph with ease.

The 700m dirt buggy track has now evolved into what is the perfect mixture of hairpins, chicanes, long sweeping corners and straights. Instructors encourage the guests to slide around the circuit using opposite lock and drifting techniques. The track is well defined with tyre walls and is controlled with marshal's flags and traffic lights.

The off road driving conditions change radically depending on weather - fast and precise in the dry, sliding about and getting incredibly muddy in the wet!! We find that the 'wetter the better', so generally even in the dry, the track gets the hose out and damp down a few corners for a bit of extra sideways action. There is good mixture of flat and bumpy ground along with some cambered corners to keep it interesting lap after lap.

Rage Buggies are available for all booking types. For health and safety operating 2 buggies on track at a time. For safety and insurance reasons, we do not do wheel to wheel racing. Minimum age for participants is 16 in dry conditions and 18 in wet conditions.
