The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992
We take financial protection seriously. If you have booked a 'package' with Adventure Connections you will be covered!
The definition of 'package' means the pre-arranged combination of at least two of the following components when sold or offered for sale at an inclusive price and when the service covers a period of more than twenty-four hours or includes overnight accommodation:
- transport;
- accommodation;
- other tourist services not ancillary to transport or accommodation and accounting for a significant proportion of the package, and:
- the submission of separate accounts for different components shall not cause the arrangements to be other than a package;
- the fact that the combination is arranged at the request of the consumer and in accordance with his specific instructions whether modified or not shall not of itself cause it to be treated as other than pre-arranged.
You will not be covered if you book an activity or a hotel, it has to be a combination of both.
If you like the idea of trawling the internet for hours on end and think you will save money in the short term by booking the hotel and/or an activity, etc by yourself, you will not be covered! Any part of your event could financially fail and you will lose not only your money but also all your friends!

We are therefore pleased to announce that a no extra cost to you, In accordance with'' The Package Travel , Package Tours Regulations 1992'' all passengers booking with Adventure Connections Ltd are fully insured for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form.
The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Adventure Connections Ltd. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Chapman Stevens through IGI Insurance Company Ltd.
In the unlikely event of Insolvency you must Inform Towergate Chapman Stevens immediately on 01932 334140 or alternatively in writing to Towergate Chapman Stevens, Towergate House, 22 Wintersells Road, Byfleet , Surrey KT14 7LF. Please ensure you retain this booking confirmation form as evidence of cover and value.
Policy exclusions: This policy will not cover any monies paid for Travel Insurance or any claim relating to Air Flights. Please ensure the Company you have booked with has the appropriate CAA / ATOL Bonds in place.
