If you're looking to escape to the country for the weekend, then this farm is ideal. It lies in the heart of the Black Mountains in South Wales and offers spacious self catering accommodation in a stunning and private location.
The 40-acre farm provides outstanding views and is completely isolated with not a neighbour in sight! There's direct access to the Brecon Beacons National Park behind the house, plus the farm has its own stretch of river for paddling in, a nature walk and acres of woods.
The Farm consists of several buildings. There's a lovely old farmhouse which sleeps 10, a separate cottage for up to 7 and a studio-style barn which has bunk beds for ten plus. The large farmhouse and cottage are available for rent either individually or together.
The farm is close to the market town of Abergavenny.
Main Farmhouse
Decorated in traditional country style, the farmhouse has big cosy sofas and chairs, painted brick walls, low wooden beams and a huge open fireplace in the living room that's a joy to come home to at the end of a day in the fresh air. The house has gas central heating, washing machine and tumble dryer, Sky TV and DVD player, plus a CD HiFi with iPod connection.
The farmhouse sleeps up to 10 in 5 double bedrooms and there are 2 ground floor bathrooms. The huge, light and airy kitchen has an Aga, a Butler sink, a 10 seat oak table and plenty of wooden workspace. The dining room has a 12-seat antique table, which can be extended to seat 16.
Cottage
The stylish and minimalist Cottage is hugely comfortable. It comprises of 2 family rooms with a double bed and a single bed, plus an additional single bedroom. There is one bathroom and there's Sky TV and a DVD player.
Bunk Barn
This sleeps up to 10 adults on bunk beds. Other facilities in this barn include a TV and DVD player, a shower room, microwave, kettle and fridge.
