Choose to stay in this unique Grade II Listed house, which is situated in a prime yet quiet location very close to the centre of the market town of Woodstock.
The house dates back to c1770, and has been tastefully decorated throughout by its artist owner, who has created a stylish holiday home of the highest standard. The house has a very welcoming atmosphere and a real 'country house' feel with its' large Georgian windows, wooden floors, antiques and original art which can be found throughout the property. These are all mixed with sympathetic contemporary touches and lovely bathrooms all of which add to a real sense of luxury.
The house sleeps up to 8 guests in four luxurious bedrooms. There is a large country kitchen and externally the house enjoys a lovely and peaceful aspect overlooking a private south west facing walled garden with views to Blenheim Park beyond.
The house is close to the centre of Woodstock, which is renowned for its literary and Blenheim Palace connections. The towns' shops, restaurants and facilities (including a museum) as well as Blenheim Palace are within a short walk. Oxford and everything this city has to offer, is just a 20-30 minute drive away.

Ground Floor
Dining Room: an elegant room, with dining table that seats up to 10 people and doors that lead out to a terrace area and the garden beyond.
Kitchen: the kitchen is fully fitted with Aga and electric 6 ring hob & electric oven, microwave, fridge & freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
Cloakroom: a downstairs cloakroom with WC and basin.
Bedroom One: with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, TV plus lovely views to the north of Woodstock.
Bathroom One: a lovely contemporary bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin.
First Floor
Living Room: this stunning, spacious room is great for entertaining and has wonderful views across the gardens and to Blenheim Park and Lake. There are sofas, a TV/ DVD player and an upright piano. A sofa bed is available on request.
Bedroom Two: with double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Bathroom Two: this shower room with shower, WC and washbasin is ensuite to Bedroom Two.
Bathroom Three: a family bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin for use by Bedrooms Three and Four.
Second Floor
Bedroom Three: with twin beds, a chest of drawers and wardrobe and views across old Woodstock.
Bedroom Four: this is a very large family room with double bed plus two single beds.
Outside
The house has a good size, south west facing walled garden (enclosed). There is a terraced area off the dining room to enjoy the garden from and as the property is set down a quiet little lane, the garden is very peaceful. You can even see the Blenheim Palace walls and grounds! There is off street parking to the side of the house.
