Then stay in this fantastic contemporary cottage, located at the south west corner of the New Forest, just a mile from the beautiful beaches at Highcliffe and only half a mile from the New Forest National park itself.
The house has gone through a major restoration and refurbishment creating extra space throughout. The contemporary design of the rebuild and extension is reflected throughout the interiors, with large open plan spaces, full width sliding/folding doors to the gardens, contemporary open fireplaces and reclaimed timber floorboards throughout. The cottage can sleep up to 18, so is ideal for large groups.
As well as the forest and the beaches virtually on your doorstep, Christchurch and Bournemouth are just a short direct drive from this large New Forest Cottage.

Kitchen/Dining Room
The kitchen/dining room takes up almost half of the ground floor space, and has plenty of space for the whole group to dine together in the same room. There's a cosy central fireplace for winter and the full width sliding folding doors accessing the large deck are wonderful when the weather turns warmer.
At one end of the room is the kitchen, which has fitted units with silestone granite worksurfaces and a freestanding stainless steel kitchen unit providing ample worksurfaces and storage. There is a wide range cooker with a single very large oven, a built-in stainless steel american fridge freezer and a freestanding fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher and washer/dryer. The base and wall units house all the cooking and dining equipment needed for your break.
Lounge
The large lounge also has sliding/ folding doors to the deck, and a central contemporary fireplace, with many settees for everyone to relax in comfort. There's a TV with DVD and plenty of storage to house the books and board games for your stay.
Bedrooms and Bathroom
There are eight bedrooms at this large cottage. Most are double rooms, some with an extra single or two, and there's a bunk-bed room which has full sized adult beds. Most of the bedrooms have a pleasant street or garden view, two or three (depending on group size) are on the ground floor. Four of the bedrooms at the front have feature original fireplaces. There are three bath / shower rooms, all are very modern and have double ended baths or separate shower cubicles, and all have heated towel rails. There's an additional cloakroom too.
