This property truly has the Wow factor as soon as you step inside the entrance hallway, which has a high vaulted ceiling with exposed oak beams and sweeping staircase awaiting you. This huge area houses the table tennis and football tables for your use.
The property boasts some superb original Edwardian features and proportions from a bygone age, including a massive original intricately carved feature fireplace in the drawing room, ornate carved ceilings and a superb wide half circular bay window seat with views over the valley. Modern additions to the property are a 2m square projector screen to view movies or presentations and a wood burner for those colder nights.
The house has huge reception rooms and spectacular views. The kitchen dining room is approx 30ft long with dining tables that can be arranged to seat up to 20 guests. The master bedroom has a large solid oak four poster bed and again spectacular views.
The house is set within 21 acres of private woodland within the South Downs National Park, just a short distance from Ditchling Beacon and the South Downs Way. The centre of Brighton is a 15 minute drive away.

Drawing Room
Superb drawing room with carved feature fireplace, wood burning stove, wide feature circular bay window with window seat for several guests to sit and admire the spectacular views of the valley. Three 3 seater sofas and a huge 2m screen for movie viewing, make this a great space for your group to congregate.
Kitchen Dining Room
Huge approximately 30ft kitchen dining room with kitchen island. The tables can be pushed together to seat a total of 20 people for dining. There is a useful sitting area with a double sofa plus table and chair. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need for your stay including a double oven/hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
Entrance Hallway
High vaulted hallway with exposed wood beams and sweeping oak staircase. A great space to play a few games on the table tennis or football tables.
Master Bedroom
Huge master bedroom with solid oak four poster bed and double zip and link bed (which can be arranged as a double or as singles) to sleep 4 . Great bay window with views across the valley, and the local windmills in the distance. Door to en-suite shower and bathroom.
Blue Bedroom
This bedroom is situated to the front of the building on the first floor level with large double bed and double sofa bed. This room sleeps 4.
Garden View Bedroom
Large room located on the first floor with large sliding french doors, giving access to the balcony and steps down to the garden, views over the garden and into the woods beyond. Feature fireplace. This room sleeps 3 people in single day beds.
Front Mezzanine Bedroom
Accessed from the first floor level with its own staircase. Sleeps 3 people on single day beds.
Front Attic Bedroom
Front attic room on second floor level sleeps 3 people on single beds.
Rear Attic Bedroom
Rear attic bedroom sleeps 4 people on single beds, also on second floor level.
Top Attic Bedroom
This room sleeps 4 people, on double bed and 2 singles.
Bathrooms
The house has 3 bathrooms. One en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom with bath, separate shower, wash hand basin and WC. A family bathroom on first floor level, next to the garden view room with roll top bath, separate shower, feature wash hand basin and WC. Shower room with wash hand basin and WC, located on second floor level which services the 3 attic rooms. Next door to the front attic room. There is also an additional cloakroom off the main hallway with WC and wash hand basin. Washing machine and tumble dryer are also located here.
