Treasure Hunts and Spy Treasure Hunts - a fun way for Stags and Hens to enjoy their Stag Weekend break

It’s your Stag Party or your Hen Weekend or you’re having a ‘Sten’, a joint boy/girl do away before your big day. So you’ve arrived on the Friday night, chilled out together and gone out for dinner, so what’s going to keep you occupied on Saturday before the B.N.O (Big Night Out)? Answer: A City Treasure Hunt.

A Treasure Hunt is a brilliant way for groups large or small to have fun and really discover a City, taking in all the obvious attractions as well as the ‘off-the-beaten track’ sights.

Adventure Connections offers a number of Treasure Hunt Style Weekend Packages designed primarily for discerning Stag Weekends and Hen Parties.

Available across a number of City Centres across the UK, participants are organised into teams and have to use their initiative and powers of deduction to unravel clues that are situated throughout their chosen City. The winning team is the one that gets to the treasure first.

Spy Based Treasure Hunts

If you fancy upping the drama and adding a little bit of 007 spice to the proceedings then Adventure Connections offers the hugely popular Spy Treasure Hunt option. Imagine the scene, you’re training to become a team of secret agents, the absolute elite of the undercover world. A data chip has been stolen from UK Secret Service HQ, containing the identities of all current agents. This is a scenario that could put National Security at risk. HQ has been informed that the chip has been implanted within an innocent member of the public without their knowledge. Your mission is to identify the individual, before he or she is hunted down by enemy agents.

After a briefing from HQ, you will be required to complete a number of team exercises that will test your mental and physical prowess and decipher clues that will unlock vital information. You must use you time wisely and allocate tasks efficiently between your team. During the mission you will have to search for a number of undercover agents, who will either help or hinder you.

The mission culminates in a return to HQ, where you will decipher all the information and begin the race to discover the identity of the chipped individual!

Teams can walk, run and even make use of taxis where necessary, but if you really want to put the ‘Bond’ into the experience, additional modes of transport such as power boats, helicopters and limousines can also be included for that extra something.

Mountain Bike Treasure Hunts

On the other hand however, if you like the idea of a Treasure Hunt but don’t want to be confined to the City then Adventure Connections offers a Mountain Biking Treasure Hunt experience where you can discover breath-taking countryside.

Like all the Treasure Hunt type activities on offer you are provided with absolutely everything you require, so for the mountain bike treasure hunt you’ll get maps, mountain bikes and instructions.

There are a number of different mountain bike courses ranging from the easy to the challenging and routes can go past various watering holes or scenic picnic areas at stunning locations.

Taxi Treasure Hunts

Black cabs whisk you around where ever you tell it too, but is it the right direction? Always really good fun and another excellent way to view the city without all the effort of running or cycling. On the taxi treasure hunt you have to find and work out cryptic clues and tasks in the time allotted. And with the ability to travel faster and further afield offers more bespoke treasure hunt options.
