Adventure Connections Hen & Stag Packages
A decade ago a traditional stag do was synonymous with drunken, debauched behaviour probably involving nakedness, handcuffs, a lamp post and a one way ticket to Glasgow on an Intercity 125 train. Likewise the Hen-do conjured up images of Chippendale-like hunks, L-plates and fairy wings!
These days, stag and Hen dos have evolved, with the respective groups actually enjoying a whole host of activities that often last for a whole weekend.
At Adventure Connections, we have been helping stags and hens have parties and weekend events that are truly unforgettable. In operation since 2000, we offer a wide variety of activities from our ever-popular sailing through to pop promos. Below is just an example of two activities from our extensive portfolio.
Clay Shooting
Clay Pigeon shooting is a hugely popular activity for Stag and Hen groups alike. Bringing with it a healthy dose of competition, you can find out just how good a marksperson you are. The beauty of such an activity is that no experience is necessary.
Extensive one-to-one instruction is received whilst each clay shooter is at the traps, ensuring that all participants reap the thrill of hitting the clay. The clay shooting sessions include the clays leaving the traps simulating a variety of different ‘bird’ flights. Groups will have a practice session, followed by a friendly competition to discover who really the best shot of the day is.
Clay pigeon shooting is a highly competitive country sport that can easily become an addiction and therefore Adventure Connections offers a number of shooting options. All specialist equipment including hearing protection is provided.
Make your own pop video
Again if you really want to let your imagination run away with you and do something really different, then the Pop Video Party is proving to be a real hit with the hens. If you’ve ever wanted to be a pop star, with this fabulous package you can!
With professional make up, styling and choreography hens can star in a pop video modeling a new look, doing some dance moves, looking gorgeous and miming to a song.
Before the shoot, hens will need to get together to decide on a song and theme that they want to use, and will be advised of a basic outfit to bring. All extra accessories and props are provided.
Hens may choose to be Pop Divas, Disco Queens, Rock Chicks – or may decide on a School Girl, Bond Girl or R&B Babe option.
The session lasts 2.5 hours and includes:
• Bubbly and nibbles
• Choreography and direction session
• Props, make up, and styling.
• Filming.
Three weeks later, get all your friends together and relive the moment as you will receive your DVD including a professional pop video edit plus your very own personal CD cover with photo stills printed on it. Making your own pop video can never be so easy and with a professional studio and a team of professionals looking after you every step of the way, your pop video party experience will be an ever-lasting memory.
