Zip Wire
As far as exhilarating activities go, this is right up there with bungee jumping for nerve-scrambling excitement: the rush of launching yourself from the cliff top to ride the Zip Wire high across a crowded beach is second to none. The aerial runway on offer is 750ft long and 120ft high - the longest, highest and fastest in Europe.
Participants will be strapped into a safety harness on the thick metal wire and given a full briefing by a qualified instructor before launching themselves off the top of the cliff and swinging across the beach like a mad monkey. But dont think the adrenaline-raising fun stops there: next youll be expected to unclip yourself from the zip wire and abseil down 50ft to the beach below. An unforgettably thrilling experience that also gives you a top view of the stunning beach and cliffs.
Abseiling
Take advantage of the imposing cliffs surrounding this spectacular beach and venture forth for some quality abseiling. There are a number of great spots to abseil down including sheer rock faces, crags and tricky overhangs. The more adventurous members of your group can also try abseiling down into the mouth of a darkened cave.
Even complete beginners can learn to make a controlled rope descent from 100ft on the variety of cliff and cave terrain. Challenge your fears and feel the incredible sense of achievement as you reach the beach below!
Tension Diagonal
Essentially this is the same as the Zip Wire, except that the wire involved is at a much more extreme angle of 45 degrees. Participants will leap from a cliff down towards the beach below, bobbing back and forth before having to abseil down to the safety of the beach below. An intense experience for the real adrenaline junkies in your group!
Rat Run
Providing a safer and more controlled experience than caving, this allows participants to scurry about in a series of man-made tunnels. Set up on the beach, you will crawl up and down through a series of narrow tunnels, attempting to navigate your way out. Escape hatches have been installed throughout the tunnel system, allowing people to hop out at any time.
