A leap of faith or simply for fun coasteering always gets top marks for excitement
A full day coasteering is a excellent way of seeing more of the coast face to face.
Whether you want to keep it simple or strenuous, this is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser that combines swimming, climbing, scrambling, and cliff jumping to take you to otherwise inaccessible parts of the Cornish coastline.
Groups will be kitted up in wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aids and surf boots and given a safety talk before taking to the water and swimming out towards the headland. From there you will swim along rocks and venture into numerous caves to witness a series of blowholes and whirlpools.
Things will then get a bit rougher as the swell pushes you up against a rock face that you will be expected to clamber up. From there it's a 20-40 ft climb up the cliffs as you prepare to go into 'Action' mode and take a thrilling leap off the cliff back into the surf below.
The instructor will take the first leap to show the rest of the group how it's done before those that want to follow suit. A real test of stamina and courage!
After a break for lunch and some motivational speeches the group will enjoy some further coasteering challenges with some exceptional scenery! Not for the faint hearted, but always gets the blood pumping!
All equipment and instruction is included on our coasteering days out
