Chocolate Making Course
Become a Chocolatier for the day, designing and creating handmade Chocolates using Green & Black's Organic
The first and only Chocolate Making Workshop dedicated to the art of chocolate creation and decoration using only the highest quality Green & Black's produce.
The Original Chocolate workshop
Have you ever wondered where cocoa beans come from or even how much cocoa you would need to trade to buy a donkey?
The original package makes a fantastic hen party activity and we love teaching this hands-on course. This 2 ½ hour workshop is available any time and day of the week for you and your closest friends.
- Learn about the history of chocolate and its journey from bean to bar, whilst sampling cocoa butter, beans and roasted nibs.
- Learn about where the cocoa bean grows, how chocolate is made and why some tastes so great (and why other products just aren't worth the calories)
- Play with molten chocolate - cool it down to the perfect consistency, ready to begin the fun.
- Create your very own giant chocolate button or personalised, never-to-be-repeated limited edition Green & Black's chocolate bar. Marshmallow, coconut and biscuit flavoured anyone?
- Learn how to make chocolate truffles from scratch and work in pairs to pipe truffles into whatever shape takes your fancy!
- We'll give everyone a slab of praline and demonstrate the art of cutting, dipping and decorating your chocolates.
- We've got bowls of melted chocolate and plenty of decorations for you to get stuck into.
- Award the bride to be the most impressive chocolate you made as souvenir of her day and a reminder of what a great group of mates she's got!
- Take home your creations in ribbon tied bags with recipes: each guest will take home about 20 to 25 chocolates in addition to their limited edition Green & Black's chocolate bar or giant chocolate buttons.
The Champagne and Chocolate Workshop
Game for a Chocolate
The Champagne and Chocolate Workshop is amazing when eaten alone and yet somehow, like most things in life, it tastes even better when paired with champagne.
After searching high and low for the perfect bubbly we discovered the fruity taste and biscuity undertones of the marvelous 'Pannier'.
When master winemaker Phillippe Dupuis and his friendly team first presented us with a glass, we knew that we had found the perfect compliment to our chocolate.
Including all the benefits of the Original Chocolate workshop, champagne will be served throughout.
This is an example of a chocolate lesson or experience, please be aware different chocolate schools will offer different experiences that may not be identical, the champagne and chocolate making experience has a small additional cost, please view the vip for costs.
Please note: The minimum group size for the Chocolate Making Lesson is 10.
